Afranet did not begin as a conventional software company. It grew out of years of building businesses, solving operational problems and eventually discovering how modern AI could make it possible to turn ideas into working software faster and more practically than before.
Individual experiments became products. Products became a growing portfolio. RhemaOS, SparkCraft AI, EriDesign Africa, DevComCenter and other projects began to show that there was a larger company taking shape behind them.
Afranet Ltd was formed to give that work one home, one engineering discipline and one long-term direction.
The Meaning Behind Afranet
Afara means bridge.
That is our calling.
The name Afranet is rooted in the Yoruba word Afara, meaning bridge.
That idea captures what Afranet is intended to do: bridge the gap between human intention and technology, between ideas and working products, and between complex problems and practical software.
The “net” in Afranet reflects networks, digital systems and connectivity. Together, Afara + Net expresses the company’s purpose: using technology as a bridge to move people, businesses and ideas from where they are to what is possible.
Why We Exist
Technology should earn its place by being useful.

We do not treat AI as the product by itself. We use it where it can improve a product, remove repetitive work, make sophisticated tools more accessible or create an experience that would otherwise be difficult to deliver.

Afranet Ltd was incorporated on 29 July 2026 as a Nigerian technology company and serves as the engineering home for Afranet’s growing software portfolio.
Current products include RhemaOS, a Scripture-guided Christian prayer platform, and EriDesign Africa, an African embroidery design platform, alongside products in development such as SparkCraft AI and DevComCenter.
The company also undertakes selected software engineering work where its product-building experience can be applied to a clear business or organisational problem.

Founder & CEO
Olusola Eri-Oluwa founded and leads Afranet Ltd. He studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University and spent years building and operating businesses before moving deeply into AI-assisted software development and product engineering.
That path shaped Afranet’s approach. The company is built around the belief that strong products begin with a clear problem, deliberate thinking and the discipline to keep building until something genuinely useful exists.
Afranet’s products and delivery standards remain the primary evidence on which the company intends to earn trust.
